DRIVER TRAINING/FUN TRACK EVENT

SEPTEMBER 9th and 10th, 2000

AT VIRGINIA INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

Urgent Update!!

If you are planning to attend the Driver Training/Fun Track Event at VIR on September 9th and 10th, then you must sign up immediately!!  Registration was originally scheduled to close August 11th!! Late entries accepted, but please don't delay.

Everybody is talking about going, but unless enough people actually commit to go by signing up, we will have to cancel. Track rental is expensive and we must cover costs. VIR is easy to get to. It is in Virginia, just over the North Carolina border about an hour north of Greensboro.

If you haven’t already, contact the Olthoffs immediately.

Original Announcement

We are pleased to announce that Olthoff Racing will be holding our 5th Driver Training-Fun event on the 9th and 10th of September, 2000 at Virginia International Raceway.

VIR is located 10 miles east of Danville, Virginia. For anyone who has not been to VIR, it is a new, top class facility set in the rolling hills of Virginia. The track is newly re-paved and the facilities include restrooms, restaurant, race gas is available etc and is truly magnificent - it cannot be compared to any other track in the country.

We have rented the VIR 1.6 mile South Course as well as the skid pan. This is an ideal opportunity for those of you going to Run and Gun to sharpen your skills and get some practice. It is also an opportunity for our new owners to get to know your cars in a safe and trooper-free environment. As this is a non- competitive event, it will not affect your Superformance Warranty in any way.

Instruction will be available to those owners who have not been to one our events. Although this is a non-competitive fun event, everyone will be required to wear suitable crash helmets, long sleeve shirts and pants.

Once more we aim at maximum track time at a reasonable cost for the two days - provided we have 70 cars registered. Only registrations accompanied by the fee of $250 can be considered and will be treated on a first come - first served basis. This fee covers two drivers per car with lunch tickets for both days.

Hotel and further information on the event will be forwarded to everyone registered, after the closing date. Registration closes on August 11th, 2000.
