Like Fine Wine

The Superformance Brock Coupe is featured in a cover story in the July issue of Super Rod.

The cover shots include Peter and Gayle Brock with Rob Ginn's red Coupe 0021 and Jim Price at speed in  Prototype Three in the Shamwari Game Reserve in South Africa with Mike Stenhouse as the passenger. 

To get the shot Peter and Gayle left the safety of the Land Rover and set up Peter's huge telephoto lens along the side of the road. See photo from inside Coupe on the left. By the fourth run, Price was really hauling the mail and Brock was standing in the middle of the road. A spectacular hockey stop brought the Coupe sliding to Brock's feet. To his credit, he never flinched.

But that wasn't the really dangerous thing! In our commitment to "get the shot", we all forgot the "don't get out of the Land Rover" rule. Only a few minutes before, we had passed a pride of lions on the hunt. Woops.

Back to Super Rod. The contents page has a two page spread of the Dynamic Motorsports Coupe 0006 in the Nevada desert taken by Brock during the SEMA show.

The really nice five page article by John Thawley features additional color shots of Prototype Three, Rob Ginn's Coupe, and the Dynamic Coupe.
