Final Results just in. After Nelson Ledges, our boys were in 9th place overall. They were 85 points ahead of the 10th place Acura NSX-R. They were 315 points behind the 8th place place Lancer. EVO 8. Short of catastrophic failures in the cars ahead of them, they were not going to move up. And they only had to place 16th in the final event to secure the 9th place position. There was no reward and a lot of risk in going for broke. They played it right. They placed 16th. Right on the money.
A stunning comeback from a bad start in the wet skid pad first event and a broken half shaft in the second event at Indianapolis. Our guys climbed hand over fist from 47th overall to 9th overall and 5th of 20 in the largest and toughest class in the event.
